Origin of Blue Hope & Care
BHCF traces its origin truly to a profound concern for a larger part of the Nigerian populace, especially the rural and vulnerable communities, who live in abject poverty and are denied basic needs. Helping one person at a time seems to be a prolonged process to achieve the goal of touching lives; after our first outreach with a couple of friends, community leaders, environmentalists and mentors, the idea of a foundation was formed.
In October 2023, BHCF was officially registered under Nigerian law as an NGO, and a team of selfless and credible individuals was formed, marking the beginning of a transformative journey. From day one, the organisation’s steering force has been a deep sense of social responsibility towards the planet and a genuine desire to uplift vulnerable communities by empowering them to adapt to climate change and build resilience through the love of God
Our Belief
In our relentless pursuit for a better world, we passionately believe that by taking climate action, ensuring good health and clean water sources for all, we illuminate the path towards a brighter, sustainable future. Through unwavering dedication, we aspire to cultivate a planet where harmony with nature coexists with rural and vulnerable communities, fostering a legacy of compassion, resilience, and shared well-being.
MISSION
Empowering communities to take ownership of their health, foster a culture of inclusivity and drive sustainable development initiatives that addresses their economic, educational and environmental needs, to make way for growth.
VISION
A healthy and well-informed community where everyone can thrive through inclusive engagement and sustainable community development
