Who We Are
Blue Hope and Care Humanitarian Initiative is a nonprofit organisation passionate about climate action, community support and development. We exist to help those in great need, and those in the rural and vulnerable region, especially in Nigeria, spreading hope as we care for their needs one person after the other, for as much as aid is clamoured for and recorded to have gotten to these regions, there seems to be severe and prevalent lack.
We consist of a multidisciplinary team of environmentalists, health personnel, social science experts, legal professionals, psychologists, dedicated community-level workers and peer educators. They are integral to our community-based interventions created in urban and rural areas. We aim to address the pressing challenges of climate change through collaboration, adaptation and advocacy efforts, provide medical support and eradicate waterborne diseases by providing clean water sources and promoting hygiene practices, keeping the environment clean and sustainable.
Origin of Blue Hope & Care
BHCF traces its origin truly to a profound concern for a larger part of the Nigerian populace, especially the rural and vulnerable communities, who live in abject poverty and are denied basic needs. Helping one person at a time seemed to be a prolonged process to achieve the goal of touching lives; after an extensive discourse with a couple of friends, community leaders, environmentalists and mentors, the idea of a foundation was formed.
In October 2023, BHCF was officially registered under the Nigerian law as an NGO, and a team of selfless and credible individuals was formed, marking the beginning of a transformative journey. From day one, the organisation’s steering force has been a deep sense of social responsibility towards the planet and a genuine desire born of the love of God to uplift vulnerable communities by empowering them to adapt to climate change and build resilience.

Ijomah Charles Chibueze
Ijomah Charles Chibueze is a Business Consultant, Project Manager, Digital Entrepreneur, Life Coach, Philanthropist, Writer and a Husband with over five years of outstanding track record in helping small and medium-scale enterprises gain momentum through business process automation, information technology (IT) powered marketing; and tenaciously advocating the entrepreneurship drive among Nigerians and Africans, especially young people. He is the founder of Blue Hope and Care Humanitarian Initiative, a nonprofit organisation passionate about Climate Action as well as Community Development
MISSION
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for rural and vulnerable communities by promoting access to clean water and sanitation, encouraging and implementing sustainable development projects to support income-generating activities, providing health care support, engaging in climate action by setting up structures, collaborating with government bodies and stakeholders, and advocating for better policies and practices.
VISION
Our vision is to create a healthy environment, especially in Nigeria, where the rural and vulnerable communities can eradicate poverty. We hope to ensure that these communities have access to clean water and sanitation for all, fostering a world where every person thrives with dignity and resilience and is strong and knowledgeable enough to take climate action.
